The Insta360 X6 is a true 3-in-1 camera, capable of shooting immersive 8K50fps 360° video, working as a traditional single-lens action camera at up to 5K60fps or 4K120fps, or automatically framing flat 4K footage on the fly with InstaFrame 2.0. Dual 1/1.1-inch square sensors give it genuine 1-inch imaging around the full 360° sphere, a 33% larger sensor area than the previous X5, for sharper detail and stronger low-light performance. A triple AI chip architecture, built around a 4nm 8-core CPU alongside two dedicated imaging chips, handles real-time denoising, colour calibration, stitching and stabilisation, while AdaptiveTone 2.0 analyses each scene's lighting range to preserve highlight and shadow detail automatically. Colour capture is genuinely professional grade, with 10-bit I-Log recording for maximum post-production flexibility and native in-camera Dolby Vision support, a first for a 360 camera. The X6 is built for everyday use too, with a compact 195g body, waterproofing to 20 metres without a case, and Replaceable Lenses 2.0 that are tougher, more scratch resistant and considerably cheaper to replace than the previous generation. A bright OLED display reaching 1,200 nits and a full-screen pressure sensor let you start and stop recording with a simple press, and Insta360's AI Director and Auto Edit 2.0 can frame, cut and edit footage automatically for polished results with minimal effort.
