Competing in the third round of the British Enduro
Championship at Windermere in Cumbria on Saturday and Sunday 25th and
26th May, the MRS Sherco riders had a really successful weekend with
Jack Edmondson taking Sherco's first overall win in the BEC series.
On Saturday, Dan Mundell, riding his Factory 2.5 4T,
put in an excellent performance winning the E1/4 class and finishing
3rd overall. Jack Edmondson, won the E2 class and was fourth
overall on his 3.0 4T Factory.
Things just got better on Sunday when Jack Edmondson
posted the first ever British Enduro Championship overall win, an
occasion celebrated by all. Dan Mundell showed his consistency by
posting the same result as Saturday, with third overall and
winning the E1/ 4 class.
Jack Edmondson - "I started
the day OK with a steady first test but after the second test I soon
realised something wasn't right. My riding was off pace but we
continued to push on to the end and came home in 4th overall.
I am really happy to earn my first ever overall victory
in the British Enduro Championship at round 4. With some problems the
first day I was happy to put that behind me and get a good result.
Honestly with the rain we had I knew it wasn't my favourite conditions
and I think I surprised myself a little with the win.
My 300 SEF was awesome all day even with the super
challenging conditions it tested both me and the bike to stay upright
and we did a great job! Thanks to all at MRS and Sherco for this great
start to the year."
